The Psalmists is a revival of the dreams of two brothers who wanted to sing to the glory of God as teenagers in the mid-eighties. Patrick and Sylvester Enwere. The duo play guitar and keyboards respectively but have failed to move beyond side attractions on occasion and in Christian music competitions. With experience over the years, stronger spiritual growth and financial strength, the two reunited again in 2025 to realize the dreams of their youth. Many of their songs are the product of meditation, prayers and worship of God.
The song is about the person who lives in Jesus Christ and about what Jesus does in the lives of those who worship him. Over 80% of the texts are taken directly from the Bible. The title “He is greater” explains everything. It is not about boasting in or with the Lord, but about realizing concretely, through the experience of the Psalmists, that Jesus gives us an extraordinary life to overcome the world, cultivate the resources that are already in the spirit and unite with God in carrying out his plans.

Text: He is greater than the Psalmists
TEXTS
We preach Christ crucified
For the Jews a stumbling block,
For the Greeks it was foolishness;
But for us, the wisdom of God.
He gives his power to the weak
and to those who have no strength
Increase their strength
Sure victory is in his hands
So we will walk and not get tired
We will run and never faint
Greater is he who is in us than he who is in the world
He makes his angels spirits
And his ministers flame with fire
He warns the world not to harm us
Rebuke kings for our sake
So we will walk and not get tired
We will run and never faint
Greater is he who is in us
of him who is in the world
But those who hope in the Lord
They will renew their strength
They will ascend with wings like eagles. They will run and not get tired
Walk and don’t faint.
Run and don’t get tired
Walk and never faint
Yes.
Now, brothers, it is time for us to praise the Lord
Let the world listen and
Let the world know
May we serve a worthy God
Sing to the Lord (Praise. Praise)
Song to the Lord (Praise, praise)
Hallelujah praise (Praise, praise).
Sing to the Lord ((Praise, praise)
All his saints are in his hands.
They go face down at his feet
They are raised on its wings
And there is no mountain that high.
So we will walk and not get tired
We will run and never faint
Greater is he who is in us
of him who is in the world
