The Nigeria Equity Market began the June New Moon with N173 billion profit for investors on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the closing of trade.
This follows the surge in stock prices such as Multiverse Mining & Exploration (Multiverse), Livestock Feeds PLC (Livestock), and Lasaco Assurance (Lasaco), among others, on the trading floor.
The Benchmark All-Share Index (ASI) increased to 112,015.95 points from 111,742.01 points recorded on the previous trading day.
After five hours of trading in the capital market, the capitalization of equity jumped to N70,635 trillion from the N70. 462 trillion recorded by the Exchange on Friday, May 30, 2025.
The extent of the negative market due to 23 advanced shares, 33 shares declined, and 87 shares remain unchanged in 17,019 agreements.

Multiverse Mining & Exploration (Multiverse), Livestock Feeds PLC (Livestock), and Lasaco Assurance (Lasaco) lead other gainers with 9.87%, 9.57% and 8.11% growth each in prices closed on N8.35, N10.30 and N2.80 from the previous N7.60, N8.4.4.40.40.
Legenda Internet (Legendint), Secure Electronic Technology (NSLTECH) and E-TRANZACT INTERNATIONAL (ETRANZACT) led other prices with 9.90%, 9.84% and 9.56% decreased each in the stock price to be closed at N5.55, N0.80 and N6.15 from N6.16 before, N0.6.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6, N0.6.15 from N6.16.
In the volume index, Fidelity Bank PLC (Fidelitybk) led trade with 98 million shares in 594 agreements, followed by Royal Exchange PLC (Royalex) traded 58 million shares in 44 agreements.
Access Holding PLC (Accesscorp) traded 55 million shares in 1,177 offers.
In the value index, Fidelity Bank PLC (Fidelitybk) appears as the top of traded shares, collecting N1.8 billion in 594 offers, followed by access holding PLC (Accesscorp) which trade equity worth N1.2 billion in 1, 177 agreements.
Nigerian Breweries PLC (NB) shares were traded worth the N985 million in 507 agreements.
