The Nigerian U-17 women’s soccer team, Flamingo will face Canada, Samoa and France in the 2025 group of FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Nigerian women found their group enemies on Wednesday at the drawing ceremony which took place at the Mohammed VI football academy in Rabat, Morocco.
It was done by Doha El Madani, an international Moroccan senior, and Fatiha Laassiri, a former Moroccan national team member, all under the leadership of Jaime Yarza, Director of the FIFA Tournament Division, and Sarai Bareman, Head of FIFA Women’s Football.
Morocco 2025 will be the first edition of the expanded tournament to display 24 countries. This is also the ninth edition of the competition, and the first edition held in Africa.
The Olowokere Bankole team will be seen to improve their performance from the previous edition in the Dominican Republic where they get out of the competition in the quarter -final stage.
The top two teams from each of the six groups will advance to round 16, as well as four third teams in third position.

The competition will take place from October 17 to November 8, 2025, with all matches take place in Rabat.
