The popular Hollywood actress, Halle Berry, has reportedly decided to postpone her partner’s marriage proposal, choosing to take more time before making a big commitment.
The talented thespian who had been married three times wanted to ensure the relationship he shared with his partner for five years, Van Hunt, continued to grow on a strong foundation before binding the bond.
“I issued a proposal, and it was still detained, as you saw,” Van Hunt told today.com after conducting his first interview with Berry on June 4 from Today with Jenna & Friends. “It’s just a floating out there. You know, maybe you can push it.”
When asked why he did not accept the proposal, Berry said that their two marriages had previously formed it and that they did not need to get married to prove their love.

“Well, I have been married three times. Van has been married once, and no, we don’t feel we have to get married to validate our love in any way. We don’t,” Halle Berry said.
Berry, who was previously married to Eric BenΓ©t, a former baseball star David Justice, and Oliver Martinez, and who has a daughter with his ex -girlfriend Gabriel Aubry and a son with Martinez, still intend to marry Hunt.
“I think we will get married just because, from the person I have married, this is the person I should have married,” he said. “And I feel we should, we have to get married, but it’s not because we feel we have to. I think it’s something we want to do just because we want that expression.”
