The Israeli Defense Minister has threatened to “take any action needed” to stop the aid ship that brought Greta Thunberg to reach Gaza.
That Climate campaign22, is one of the dozens of activists above Madleen, who sailed from Sicilia last Sunday with a mission aimed at resting IsraelSea blockade.
Activists say they plan to reach GazaTerritorial waters as early as Sunday to provide humanitarian assistance.
But in a post in X, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said he had instructed IDF to prevent ships from reaching the beach and to “take any action needed”.
Speaking to Thunberg and other activists, he said: “You have to come back – because you won’t reach Gaza.”
He wrote: “I have instructed IDF to act so that the fleet of hatred ‘Madeleine’ did not reach Gaza Coast – and to take whatever way needed for that purpose.
“To Greta Anti -Seemit and fellow Hamas Propaganda spokesman, I say clearly: You must return – because you will not reach Gaza.
“Israel will act against all efforts to break the blockade or help terrorist organizations – at sea, in the air and on land.”
Rima Hassan, a member of the French Parliament of Europe, who is also on the Palestinian descent, is also on a ship, which is operated by the Freedom Fleet Coalition.
He has been prohibited from entering Israel because of its opposition to Israel’s policies towards Palestinians.

Israel began to allow some basic assistance to Gaza last month after a total of three months blockade aimed at suppressing Hamas and preventing groups to import weapons.
But humanitarian workers have warned of starving unless there are at the end of the 20 -month block and war, which was lit by an attack led by Hamas in South Israel on October 7, 2023.
Last month’s efforts by Freedom Flotilla to reach Gaza in the sea failed after other ships from the group ships were attacked by two drones while sailing in international waters outside Malta.
The group blamed Israel for the attack, which damaged the front of the ship.
