In a movement that underlines the growing collaboration between agencies to empower the youth of Nigeria, the vice president of Air Marshal of Yusuf, president of the International Secretariat of Link Air of the Nigerian Air Force, and Mr. Kadiri Waheed Olateju made a courtesy to the president’s senior assistant of the president on the sports development of Gaseos, Hon. In his Abuja office, today.
The high -level visit focused on exploring areas of synergy between the Nigeria Air Force and the SSA office to the president, particularly in the promotion of discipline, leadership and physical aptitude through sports among Nigerian young people.

Welcome to the delegation, the Hon. Adeboye expressed his appreciation for the interest of the Air Force in supporting the youth -focused programs and reiterated the federal government’s commitment, under the renewed hope of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to take advantage of sports as a tool for national development and social cohesion.
“This visit of such estimated officials of the Nigerian Air Force shows that sport is no longer just competition; it is now seen as a vehicle for national security, the commitment of young people and capabilities development,” said Adeboye.
The Vice Mariscal de Aire Yusuf praised the Hon. Adeboye for the energy and innovation that has brought to base sports development and pointed out that the army is increasingly open to associations that promote national unity and youth empowerment.
According to reports, the discussions at the meeting included possible joint sports initiatives, tutoring programs and the use of community sports facilities for community -based development programs.
Mr. Kadiri Waheed Olateju, who accompanied the Delegation of the Air Force, also emphasized the role of collaboration between agencies in achieving a lasting social change, especially in the unfair and unattended communities.
Excmo ADEBOYE assured the delegation the preparation of his office to work in close collaboration with all patriotic institutions to offer a lasting impact through sports and youth programming.
The meeting ended with a cordial note, with both parties committed to maintaining open lines of communication and start speaking exploratories about pilot programs in selected regions.
