The English Division Club Bolton Wanderers will face the South African giants Orlando Pirates in a friendly game.
Bolton confirmed the friendly meeting in a statement on his website on Tuesday.
“Bolton Wanderers will travel to Spain for a preseason training camp, starting on Sunday, July 6,” the club announced.
โThe intensive one week in Marbella is a key part of the squad preparations for the next campaign of the League one with chief coach Steven Schumacher. The trip will conclude with a friendly accessory against South African giants, Orlando Pirates.
โThe match against the Buccaneers will take place on Friday, July 11, with a local start of the 11 am at the Marbella Football Center.

“Founded in Soweto in 1937, Orlando Pirates is one of the oldest and most successful clubs in South Africa. Known as ‘The Buccaneers’, they have won nine titles of the National League and are one of the few clubs in the southern hemisphere that has won the CAF Champions League, raising the trophy in 1995.

โThe support of supporters to the game will be extremely limited due to the capacity of the place. The club will confirm the details about the availability of tickets in due time.
