In a video shared on X on Tuesday, the bandit leader who was declared by Nigerian police in 2020 with the prize of N5 million in his head, was heard that his group and others like he would continue to attack the community if they continued to be classified as terrorists.
When giving a speech at a meeting in the language of Hausa, Alieru claimed that for six years, several Nigerian soldiers lived in his home without conflict or misunderstanding between them.
Alieru who boasted about his involvement and role in Banditry, openly claimed he was one of the original puppeteers of the criminal law.
However, he regretted that he and his bandits were not recognized by their families because of their criminal activities. He stated that their parents never supported their involvement in bandits, expressing shame and rejection by stating that they had been expelled from their home.
According to him, many Fulani youths who joined armed groups were forced to enter the lifestyle because of the hard economic and social conditions outside of their control.
“I call on the Nigerian government, for God’s sake. Given the current situation, they must stop calling us terrorists while claiming that they have built schools for bandits or giving us education,” he said.

“The government must stop calling us terrorists. As for me, the Nigerian soldiers lived in my house for six years – any soldier in Nigeria could verify this. They lived in my house, and all that time, we never had a misunderstanding,” he said.
“They also have to stop saying that bandits have been rehabilitated and integrated into society, that is completely untrue.
“Those who want to go and farm must farm, and those who want to grab cows must do it. All we know is how to maintain livestock and farming.
“Since we started this bandit, our parents have not supported him. They don’t like what we are doing and even chasing us from their homes.
“When you continue to run in the escape, pursued and bombed by security forces, some people think that returning to bandits is one -choice. But we have to gather and make peace, because no one is running.
“It’s time to leave violence and put our hands. If not, we will be killed. This is a clear truth. If we return to peace and pursue education, our children will have a better future and will succeed.
“If we understand each other, we can live together in peace. The army can be posted here today and transferred tomorrow, but we, as indigenous people, are born here. We know each other family and history. If we cannot forgive the past and embrace each other, what hope is to save ourselves?”
“These security operators are not placed permanently here. They move like shepherd who are shepherd in one area and move to another once the land runs out.
“By Allah, I ask the president of this country -please stop calling us terrorists or bandits. If the government really wants us to live peacefully, it must stop using such names.
“In any area they come from, I am a person who pioneered this movement. I know how everything starts, and until now, I still get full information. Nothing I don’t know about this struggle. The bandits are known, either alive or dead, are under us,” he said.
