Biffo puts CAF on the licensing candidate list, ready for the elite coaching course

Former Kwara United coach Abdullahi Usman Biffo has been selected among 25 coaches for the upcoming CAF A ​​License coaching course, scheduled to begin on September 14, 2026.

The development marks another important step in the coaching career of the experienced Nigerian tactician, who currently resides in the United States of America and is part of the Nigeria national team.

Biffo earned his place on the shortlist after successfully participating in the CAF B License refresher course, paving the way for him to progress to the prestigious CAF A ​​License level.

The coach, who arrived in Nigeria last week, was recently spotted at the G Innovation FC training ground in Ikeja, alongside the club’s CEO, Chigozie Nwagwu.

Biffo has considerable experience in Nigerian football, having previously managed Kwara United and worked with players and teams at different levels of the game.

His selection for the CAF A ​​License program is expected to further strengthen his technical and tactical knowledge whilst enhancing his coaching credentials.
