Abekaliki FC seeks divine support to lift the Federation Cup 2025

The ‘Rice Boys’ are making their first appearance in a final of the Cup of the President Federation, and the club’s hierarchy said exclusively to Teleports.com that they are determined to make their presence count.

Senator Obinna Ogba, president of the club, told Complecesports.com on Friday afternoon that the team is fully prepared for the final confrontation of the Cup.

In addition, OGBA revealed that, as part of its final preparations, the team will seek divine guidance on Sunday.

“We are prepared. We are determined and we are ready for the last game next week,” Senator Ogba, former president of the Senate Sports Committee began.

“We want to guarantee general preparation. Physically, coaches have worked hard to ensure that the team is in good shape for the game.

“But on Sunday, June 22, we will take the team to a religious service to seek the face and grace of God before the game. That is the spiritual aspect, and we hope to pride all citizens of the state of Ebonyi bringing home the trophy home.

“We also want to win to show the governor (Nwifuru) for his support and encouragement,” said Senator Ogba.
