A lawyer and human rights activist, Inbehe Effiong, has rejected the Governor of the State Akwa Ibom, Claim of Pastor Umo Eno that he disposed of the people’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Congress of All Progressive (APC), because of the desire to complete a deep seaport in the state.
Eno said on Saturday that he was not afraid to join the ruling party because it would bind the completion of the port project that had been left for more than 30 years by the government respectively in. country.
“We are not afraid to join APC, because we know that with APC, we will realize our Ibom Deep Port,” he said.
“That is our request. For more than 30 years, Akwa Ibom has struggled to have a port, but today we are convinced that the federal government will help us realize the port.
“I believe President Tinubu, who is a man of his Word, will respect us. Even if it is a terminal, this movement will be justified.”
Effiong, who spoke in the television program of the channel on Monday, said that the move of the Governor from PDP to APC had nothing to do with the port or the good of the people of the state but for his own selfish interests.

The lawyer shared the interview clip in his X -grip.
“Governor Umo Eno is not disabled from PDP to APC because Ibom looks like deep,” Effiong said.
“The governor who defected to APC has nothing to do with the interests of the country. He defected because APC looks like a rigging machine, that once you come, we will guarantee you victory by all means …”
