Play for Super Eagles: Marriage plans make Bundesliga Star to change with Chelle

The proposed meeting between the coach of the national senior team of Nigeria Eric Chelle and Moritz Jenz, who was borrowed from Wolfsburg to his Bundesliga partner, Mainz 05 could not maintain due to the wedding plans of the 26 years, Owngoalnigeria.com can reveal exclusively.

Chelle spoke with the defender who was born in Germany from a Nigerian father and a German mother, making him eligible to play for the Nigerian national team. The couple discussed the possibility that it occurred to him in U about their decision to expect a senior call to the German national team.

They were plans to meet in the summer, but he filed when Jenz chose the date of her wedding to coincide with her break out of season, and is currently on honeymoon just in time before the resumption of training prior to the season.

Last season he made 19 appearances in the German Bundesliga and Chelle sees him as an option in his to refresh the aging defense of the Nigerian team. A new date has not been agreed to meet as at the time of this report.
