A court to decide on Natasha’s lawsuit against Akpabio, the other 4 July

Judge Binta Nyako from the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Friday, improved July 4 for a decision on a lawsuit filed by the Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uuduaghan, against the Senate leadership.

Judge Nyako on May 13 was improved June 27 for the assessment.

The Senate on March 6 suspended Akpoti-Uduaghan for six months for alleged violations.

Senator has, in the ex parte motion submitted before its suspension, asking the court to arrest the Senate Committee on Ethics, Specialty and Code of Ethics from continuing the investigation that was recognized for him because of alleged violations during the February 20 plenary in Abuja.

The Registrar of the National Assembly, Senate, President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, and the Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Ethics, Special Rights and Code of Ethics, Neda Imasuem, registered as respondents in the lawsuit.

The judge chose the date after Michael Numa (San), who appeared for Akpoti-Uuduaghan, and the lawyer to the respondent adopted their process in the lawsuit.

Judge Nyako will also give an assessment in the insult claim submitted by Akpabio and Senator who were fought on the same date.

He will be the same as deciding to the initial objection that challenges the court jurisdiction by the respondent.

The judge said: “I want to believe that all processes exist.

“What I will do is first to see the problem of insult and make decisions about it.

“Then I will see the initial objection notification. If they succeed, it is the end of this case, and if not, I will see the original call submitted by the Plaintiff.”
