They stated that reforms accelerated inclusive development.

This forum also welcomed the Governor of the State of Akwa Ibom, Umo Eno, who disposed of the people’s Democratic Party (PDP) for APC earlier this month, into his folds.

Governors describe this step as “a reflection of the increase in national consensus on transformative policies” from the Tinubu administration.

They praised President Tinubu for the new macroeconomic reform, including the elimination of fuel subsidies, the unification of exchange rates, and debt rationalization.

These policies, according to them, are the steps needed towards the long-term national revival.

“While we recognize the initial signs of recovery, we believe that economic growth must be democratized.

“We divert focus to social equity by expanding investment in job creation, MSMEs, food security, and social safety nets.

“We are committed to deepening economic decentralization and building fiscal transfers from the federal government,” added the communicate.
