MK: Water FC President Partners Noc to advance the development of youth sport

The president of the Water FC and the famous sports philanthropist, Makanjuola Nursi, popularly known as MK, expressed his commitment to deepen the basic sports development in Nigeria through a strategic partnership with the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NoC).

Mk made a courtesy visit to the president of the Noc, the engineer Habu Gumel, in Abuja on Sunday. The meeting focused on the creation of a sustainable platform aimed at enhancing the Nigerian young people through sport.

For over two decades, Noreni has quietly supported the dreams of many aspiring athletes throughout the country, financing their training and facilitating exposure to competitive opportunities, especially in football.
Speaking during the visit, Mk reiterated his desire to continue to contribute significantly to the sports ecosystem of Nigeria.
“This visit concerns the strengthening of my commitment for the development of Nigerian sports and the identification of the areas where we can collaborate with the NOC to give to younger the opportunity to be successful through sport,” he said.

The CEO of Water FC underlined the vital role of sport in facing youth unemployment and promoting national unity, asking for greater collaborative efforts between the private sector and the government bodies of sport. “Sport is a powerful tool capable of creating real opportunities for millions of Nigerian young people. We must use it strategically to unlock their potential,” he added.

The president of the NOC, engineer Gumel, welcomed the gesture and praised MK’s long -standing contributions to the basic development, describing it as a “silent pillar” of Nigerian sports.
