Cynosure FC defends its position in front of the NFF Disciplinary Committee

In a bold and complete presentation, the management of the Cynosure Football Club appeared in front of the Disciplinary Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to defend its integrity and position following recent penalties.

The club firmly denied any illicit or complicity in the alleged bad conduct brought in front of the committee, in particular those deriving from his meeting against Giant Brillars FC. Cynosure FC claimed that he acted in accordance with the rules of the League and the sporting spirit of the game.

According to the presentation of the club, the withdrawal from the controversial match was the direct result of non -professional conduct and a violation of the protocol by the officials of the game, not a reflection of the club for the club to boycott or sabotage the League.

The club expressed shocks for punitive actions taken without a correct investigation, in particular highlighting the rupture reported in the communication and the lack of logistical support that has failed the procedure of the match. The Cynosure FC also drawn attention to what described as “double standards and selective judgment” in the management of similar issues involving other teams.

“We are a club built on integrity, discipline and professionalism,” said the presentation. “The attempt to paint us in bad light is not unjustified and we are looking for fair hearing.”

Cynosure FC requested a complete revision of the accident and the decisions taken by the NLO secretariat, while asking the committee to support the principles of justice and transparency in the governance of football.

While the NFF Disciplinary Committee continues its resolution, all eyes remain on the verdict, which could constitute a previous critic for the resolutions of the disputes of the future League.
