Candidate Vice President of the Labor Party in the 2023 General Election, Datti Baba-Ahmed, warned on Thursday that the opposition coalition had to do something that was not thought of to defeat the President of the Tinubu Bola in the 2027 election.
The opposition group led by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has officially adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the election.
The group launched a temporary executive committee for the party on Wednesday with former Senate president, David Mark and former Governor of State Osun, Rauf Aregbesola, each as chairman and secretary.
Baba-Ahmed, who appeared in a program on Trust TV, said Tinubu was a phenomenon that was waiting for 16 years to be the president of the country.

He said: “I have not seen anyone in this coalition that can be a scheme and plan more than 16 years. With all respect to Atiku, he has been contested consistently – this will be the seventh time.
‘But tell me: is there anyone else in the coalition who will say,’ Let it be someone else, and I will support them ‘? I haven’t seen it yet. Everyone seems to be only interested in their nomination.
“But Tinubu remained committed for 16 years and took it in 2023.
“He gave ACN Atiku in 2007. gave it to thousands in 2011. Buhari was supported in 2015. And waiting until 2023 to take it yourself. I said: To defeat this phenomenon called Tinubu, you must do things that are not thought of.”
