Hull City suffered their first Premier League defeat this season after losing 2-1 to Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Saturday.
Super Eagles star Semi Ajayi was in action for Hull and saw action for 90 minutes in the match.
Joe Willock opened the scoring for Newcastle just three minutes into the match before Lewis Hall doubled the lead just four minutes later.
Newcastle had the chance to extend their lead in the second minute of first-half added time, but Yoane Wissa missed the penalty.
In the 67th minute, Mohamed Ali-Cho scored a goal for Hull that was enough to salvage anything from the match.
At the AMEX, Brighton defeated Arsenal 3-0 to end the champions’ unbeaten start to the season.
Brighton took the lead in the 31st minute thanks to Pascal Gross, while Charalampos doubled the lead in the 45th minute.
Then, in the 57th minute, Chema Andrés added the third goal for Seafull.
