Support the vulnerable, orphans, Islamic scholar begs wealthy Nigerians

An Islamic scholar, Mallam Magaji Umar, has called on well- to- do individuals and politicians in the society to support the vulnerable, orphans and widows to live better life, considering the economic hardship being faced in the country.

He made the call in an interview with journalists in Zaria, Wednesday.

Mallam Umar said the current economic hardship being faced by the vulnerable members of the society was pathetic, hence the need for the rich to think inward and assist the needy.

“You see thousands of people cannot have what to eat, some are sick and cannot go to hospitals. They are at home without food and drugs.

“It is high time the wealthy individuals and politicians to do something about the situation and not leave everything to government alone, I advise to you complement government’s effort and by so doing Allah will reward you in abundance, both on the mother earth and life hereafter,” he said.
