DISSERS: the court orders Natasha to apologize, pay well N5m – Thage

The High Federal Court, Abuja, found the Senator suspended representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Auduaghan, guilty of contempt By publishing satirical excuses to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio.

Hearing on Friday, judge Binta Nyako, said the satirical apologies published on the Natasha Facebook page on April 7, a mockery of an order of bavaglio that was placed on the parties by the court.

Declaring the violation of a civil proceeding, ordered judge Nyako Natasha to take place in the court, which will be published in two national newspapers and on her Facebook page, to eliminate from contempt. He must also pay the sum of N5 million to the Federal Government.

“These orders must be obeyed within 7 days of this sentence,” said the Court.
