Naira spilled N0.89 against the dollar in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, depreciated the US dollar on an official window on Tuesday.

Foreign exchange data of Bank Nigeria Bank central bank (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1, 529.22/$ 1 compared to N1.528.33/$ 1 which is traded on Monday.

This is the loss of N0.9 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira obtained the N10 against the dollar to trade at N1.545/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.555/$ 1.

Local currency, however, loss of N10 to British pounds to be traded on N2.160/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.150/£ 1.

It was closed flat against the Canadian dollar to be traded in N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira also I closed the flat against the euro to be traded in ₦ 1,800/€ 1.
