Ebonyi Agog, like Ebsu Honors Chima Anyaso Thursday 10 July

The excitement is buzzing in the state of Ebonyi like dr. Chima Desmond Any Anyaso Entrepreneur, the politician and the philanthropist returns to his Alma Mater, Ebonyi State University (Ebsu), to deliver Keynote’s speech to the first distinct lesson of the University today 10 July.

The lesson, the theme “From the Hall to Sala del Consiglio: the power of education in modeling destiny”, will highlight Anyaso’s stimulating journey from being part of the pioneer of Ebsu set in 1999 to become CEO of the Caades Group, with investments that embrace real estate, oil and gas, health and hospitality.

The preparations for the event, organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, are in full swing, with students, teachers and former students who mobilize to participate. Cultural shows and a dinner will complete the lesson.

Speaking in front of the event, Dr. Anyaso said: “I am full of humility and gratitude while I share this good news. Being invited to keep the first lesson of former students ever in the history of Ebonyi State University is a complete moment for me”. He also described the opportunity as “a historical moment” and has extended an invitation to “friends, family, members and former classmates” to join him.

The Patriotic Forum Bande (BPF) praised the selection of Anyaso, affirming in a message signed by its leaders: “Dr. Anyaso has constantly demonstrated excellence, leadership and an unwavering commitment for the development of the community”. They added: “His stimulating journey from Ebsu classrooms to the rooms of the Council of the main industries embodies the theme of this lesson”.

The philanthropic foundations of Anyaso supported young people through scholarships and tutoring, earning more national and African prizes. The event should inspire the students and strengthen the ties of former students, marking a milestone for Ebsu and its growing community.
