Lagos LG survey: because we have not closed the border – immigration

Absullahi Adamu controller, immigration service in Nigeria, border command of seed, claims to have not received any directive to close the border on the elections of the Council of State of Lagos.

Adamu told our correspondent in seed Saturday, that the border is international, in the exclusive list.

According to Adamu, we have not received any letter from the state government of Lagos or from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the elections.

“The closure of an international border should come from the greatest authority.

“There is no information on the limitation of the movement until 3.00.pm, so our status quo remains.”

According to him, the border cannot be closed against people who enter the country, but we can only advise them to wait until 3.00.pm after having stamped them before leaving the border.

Adamu said that foreigners who came to the country through the border would be invited to hang somewhere after stamping passports until 3.00.pm before leaving the border.

However, he said that the command will act accordingly if they had received the order to limit the movement.
