Four killed, 7 injured in the collapse of the canoe building

At least four people were killed and seven others were injured when a three -story building collapsed in the Abedi Sabon Gari area in the Fagge Regional Government in Kano on Sunday.

The Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Nuradeen Abdullahi, confirmed the news to journalists on Monday at Kano.

He said the building fell around 19:00 after heavy rain in the community.

“After receiving a warning warning, we immediately mobilize our search and rescue response team (SAR) to the scene in collaboration with other relevant stakeholders,” Abdullahi said.
