Mercy’s nollywood actress and producer Johnson-Okojie has openly voiced her anger after learning that the film was recently released, “The Firstborn,” is being screened by the television station Ghana Blazing TV without permission.
The popular actress expressed her frustration on social media by posting screenshots and increasing concerns about the legitimacy of Ghana TV station broadcast.
“Ghana. TV Blazing. How is this fine? TV Blazing in Ghana displays my film, the firstborn, on their TV without my consent. How is this reasonable? How?” He wrote, adding that he “could not say in the courage of it all.”

Mercy Johnson became aware of the situation after a fan showed that Ghana’s TV station, which was related to Multitv, showed the film recording.
The newly released film, according to the report, may be taken from the YouTube channel and then displayed without permission or license needed.
Protest Mercy Johnson attracted attention to the continuous problem of copyright violations faced by Nigerian filmmakers in Ghana. He joined more and more Nollywood celebrities who previously criticized Ghana TV stations for using their content without permission, including Bimbo Ademoye and Omoni Oboli.
