Nigeria leaves tennis, taekwondo, eyes of the Badminton medals in Fisu

The Nigeria team has retired from tennis and taekwondo events in the Games of the 2025 World University in Rhine-Ruhr, Germany, but changes to Badminton for a possible success of the medals.

In Taekwondo, Shukurat omobisola Abdusalam lost 1-4 against Salima Guyeva de Azerbaijan in the Round of -45 Kg female of 32. Jesse Jonah also fell 1-4 to Italy Davide Lupo in the 64-year-old men. -67 kg, while Olajumoke Blessing Olateju was defeated by China Dabin’s song in the female event +73 kg.

All eyes are now in the Badminton matches on Wednesday, where Christiana Olajumoke Obasanmi will face the Devika Sihag of India in the 64th female singles round, and Ohireme Lucky Steven will face Osuke Sakurai of Japan in the singles round of 64 -year -old men.
