Bago Blue Bluepint Award for best Gov in agriculture, infrastructure

The Governor of the State of Niger, the farmer Mohammed Umar Bago, was honored with the best governor of the agricultural and infrastructure prize by the newspaper Blueprint, recognizing his passive passives in transforming the agricultural landscape of the State and the renewal of the infrastructures.

This was contained in a declaration Tuesday by Yunusa Abugi, deputy director of information, Ministry of Information and Strategy.

According to the declaration, the prize was awarded during the public lesson of the 2025 project, the Impact series and the award ceremony held at the Ladi Kwali Hall of Abuja Continental Hotel, where the governor Bago was skillfully represented by the commissioner for information and strategies, Hajia Binta Mamman.

According to the newspaper Blueprint, the prize recognizes the exceptional commitment of the governor Bago in the expansion of food production, enhancing farmers and repositioning the state of the Niger as Nigeria’s food basket, together with its significant investments in rural and urban infrastructures to guide economic growth and connectivity throughout the state.

The declaration observed that the high -profile event, chaired by the secretary of the government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, aroused significant characters including the vice president of the Senate Barau Jibrin and key ministers from national information and orientation, solid minerals, agriculture and food safety, cattle development and water resources.

Receiving the prize on behalf of the Governor, Hajia Binta Mamman, he expressed appreciation to the newspaper newspaper to recognize the administration’s efforts in repositioning the state of the Niger, describing the recognition as a motivation for the government to support his reform agenda based on the renewed framework of hope.

“This prize is a testimony of the vision of the governor Bago to transform the state of the Niger through robust agricultural investments and renewal of infrastructures, ensuring that we improved the means of existence of our people, while contributing to the food safety and the economic development of Nigeria,” he said.

The administration of the governor Bago has implemented reference initiatives in large-scale mechanized agriculture, development of irrigation, improvement of the value chain and rural rehabilitation, which are improving the market access for farmers, reducing post-rack losses and stimulating local economies through the state of the Niger.

The Blueprint prize further underlines the growing reputation of the governor as a leader engaged in practice and focused on people, driving sustainable development and the construction of an inclusive economy for the benefit of any resident of the state of the Niger.
