Extension of possession: SWAN congratulates the customs CG

The National Leadership of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (Swan) Thursday congratulated Mr. BASHIR ADENIYI ADENIYI for its mandate extension as a general controller of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).

General Secretary Swan Amb. Ikenna Okonkwo in a declaration on behalf of the President of the Association, Isaiah Benjamin, on Friday, described the choice to extend the mandate of CG Adeniyi as APT and worthy.

While recalling the Exploit of the Dogana CG, the president of Swan has noticed that Mr. Adeniyi in a short time has a historical undertaking that will be difficult to march in the NCS.

He said: “On behalf of the swarming sports journalists in Nigeria, I am happy to congratulate Mr. Adeniyi for the well -deserved extension of his mandate as a general controller of the customs service of Nigeria by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“The decision to keep Mr. Adeniyi as Hussman customs is one of the best moves oriented to the consolidation of the earnings that the country’s frontiers’ borders security agency has made in recent times.

“It is known that the man of Nigeria Customs number one has recently been elected President of the Council of the World Customs Organization (WCO). While Nigeria Customs CG, Adeniyi will now focus on guiding the global body at greater heights.

“Furthermore, his commitment and passion for the development of Nigeria Customs Vis-A-Vis making a good use of his company responsibility resources to support Nigeria’s sporting development is worthy of emulation by other agencies to para-militate the government.”

President Benjamin therefore expressed the trust that Mr. Adeniyi will further improve the successes already recorded at the NCS with the ongoing reforms even if he prayed for the continuous guide of Allah.
