Hundreds of women, including women and mothers who are married, on Saturdays, take the main streets in metropolis to declare peace protests against the increase in violence committed by gangs known as Yandaba who have caused loss of lives and property and injury to many residents throughout the state.
The demonstrators carrying placards with various messages, condemned clashes that often involve local gangs that often erupt without provocation.
The women who protested who spoke to reporters during the demonstration, said the gang war that often occurred in broad daylight, had caused death and disability of innocent population, including their husbands and children.

“Today our husbands and children are no longer safe with the attack of Daba’s boys who invaded every time to attack,” said one of the protesters.
“We cannot sleep with our eyes closed because whenever someone can be pursued to your house running to save his life. This is how bad the situation is,” he added.
Other protesters quoted said:
“We want security institutions and the government sincerely against these criminals and eliminate it once and for all so we will have peace in our area.”
