The Report on Agora’s policy marks the best state of the YEBE budget in 2024

Yobe State emerged as the best state budget that lent a state with an impressive 98.6 percent in the annual annual performance ratio of the AGORA policy of 2024 of Sub Nationals on the budget performance.

Agora’s policy, a non -profit and Nigerian non -profit organization of Think Tank with particular attention to economic growth, development, democracy and good government, has assessed Yoube as the best state in the 2024 budget that performs the state followed by states and rivers that emerge respectively the second and third position.

The Governor of the State, dr. Never Mala Buni, while reacting to the report, says that the emergence of the State of Yobe with 98.6 percent would have prompted his administration to achieve higher objectives in the budget discipline and financial prudence.

The governor said that the government was consistent in the development and implementation of realistic budgets and in tune with economic realities.

“We were also guided by budget discipline, transparency and financial prudence in managing the affairs of the state government.

“This recognition would stimulate us to continue to do more in the budget discipline, the right trial and the financial prudence,” the Governor Buni assured.

Yobe State policy on financial transparency has continued to earn the premiums and the recognition of important organizations including the responsibility and sustainability of state tax transparency (SFTAS), a world bank program, evaluating the state as the best of tax transparency and responsibility.

Likewise, the Paradigm Leadership Support Initiative (PLSI), a group of civil society recognized internationally known to monitor public responsibility and transparency in the spending of public funds, has obtained the Yobe State score as the most performing state in 2023 and 2024 by exceeding another 35 years in the report of the subnational efficacy index on liability and in the transarable in public funds.
