The Atalanta CEO reveals that PSG offered 20 million euros for lookman … clears the air in ‘Gentleman Pact’ with Nigerian Star

The CEO of Atalanta, Luca Percassi, explained the covenant between the club and Adelala Lookman.

At a press conference organized by the Club for the presentation of the new goalkeeper Marco Sportiello, he clarified that there was a pact to allow Lookman to leave the club for a superior European club for a lower rate, and that it would not be an Italian club.

“A year ago, in response to an offer of 20 million euros from the PSG, Adelalo Lookman had asked us to transfer.”

“Atalanta, being a credible club, had promised to consider transferring the player in this transfer window based on two conditions requested by him: first, to join a superior European club, and that in Italy he would never see it using a shirt other than Atalanta.”

“Today, the situation is quite different, but as always, it is the Atalanta Club that decides the moment and value of its players.”

Lookman filed a transfer application on Sunday. He also told the public about the unfair treatment he received from Atalanta during his time at the club.

The relationship between Lookman and Atalanta is broken. He has eliminated all the images of the club of his Instagram handle and has eliminated the club of his biography.

He was abandoned from the friendly match against RB Leipzig.
