Governor of Ekiti, Oyebanji, dissolves the cabinet

The governor of the state of Ekiti, Biodun Oyebanji, announced the dissolution of the state executive council with immediate effect.

The commissioners affected and special consultants must deliver to the permanent secretary or to the highest official of the respective MDA.

Governor Oyebanji thanked the affected members of the state executive council and wished their success in their future efforts.

However, the dissolution, according to Prof. Habibat Adubiaro, secretary of the state government, has not influenced the attorney general and the commissioner for justice.

Furthermore, not influenced by dissolution, said the SSG, it was the Commissioner for Health and Human Services; Commissioner for agriculture and food safety; Commissioner for education; Commissioner for the works; Commissioner for trade, investments, industry and cooperatives; Special consultant, special education and social inclusion; and Special Adviser Lands, Survey and E-Gis.

In addition, all general directors who are members of the state executive council must maintain their positions.

These are the general manager of the transformation and delivery of the service (OTSD); General Manager SDGS and monitoring of the project; and director General Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).
