Naira spilled N2.36 against dollars in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, depreciated the US dollar in the official window on Monday, August 11, 2025.

According to Nigerian Central Bank data (CBN), Naira was closed on N1, 535.92/$ 1 compared to N1, 533.56/$ 1 which was traded on Friday, August 8, 2025.

This is the loss of N2.36 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira obtained N15 against the dollar to be traded in N1.555/$ 1, the same as the previous day level N1.570/$ 1.

Naira gained N5 against British pounds to trade at N2.100/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.105/£ 1.

Naira continues to close flatly against Canadian dollars to trade at N1.200/Ca $ 1, equal to the previous day level N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira lost N5 to Euro to trade in ₦ 1,785/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,780/€ 1.
