Armed people suspected of kidnapping on Friday killed a 34-year-old man, Okudili Okoro, in the state of Ondo.
They also kidnapped a woman, who was identified as Mrs. Orogun was brought by unknown armed people in Ogbese, Akure North Government Area in the state.
Spokesman for the State Police Command, Sports Ayanlade, confirmed the incident to journalists in Akure.
He said the 10 -person gang invaded the city with two vehicles.

Ayanlade said: “The vehicle used in ACT is an unregistered silver Honda Accord, which leads to Akure after the operation.
“Toyota Camry is other gray that is not registered also towards Owo after the attack.
“The Commissioner of the State Police, Adebowale Lawal, visited Ogbese, the scene, on Friday and ordered all tactical commanders to do everything possible to save victims without injury and arrest the perpetrators.”
