Imo SWAN mourns with NNL boss George Aluo over the death of his mother

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Imo State Chapter, has expressed deep sadness over the death of the mother of Nigeria National League (NNL) President and Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Executive Committee Member, George Aluo.

In a press release jointly signed by the President, Cosmos Chukwuemeka, and Secretary, Tunde Liadi, the association described the passing of Ezinne Bernadette Aluo as a painful loss, not only for the Aluo family but also for the Nigerian sporting community.

The association expressed its deepest condolences to George Aluo and his family, praying that God would grant them the strength and courage to bear the irreparable loss.

SWAN Imo noted that although the death of a loved one is always painful, the family should take comfort from the exemplary life lived by Ezinne Bernadette Aluo and the lasting legacy she left behind.
The association also prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul and encouraged the grieving family to remain steadfast in their faith during this difficult period.
