Madueke: Other teams will be more worried about us

Noni Madueke believes England have developed a fear factor at the 2026 FIFA World Cup after reaching the semi-finals for the fourth time in history.

Thomas Tuchel’s men came from behind to beat Norway 2-1 after extra time on Saturday, with Jude Bellingham scoring twice to set up their quarter-final clash against Argentina.

The victory in Miami came after a thrilling 3-2 win against Mexico on home soil and a hard-fought 2-1 victory over the Democratic Republic of the Congo, games in which Bellingham and Harry Kane shone with five goals between them.

And Madueke insists the Three Lions’ in-form forwards will have the opposition worried as England continue their bid to add a second star to the shirt in the United States.

“I feel like other teams will be more worried about us.”

“A lot of times it comes down to moments,” added Bukayo Saka, who was alongside Arsenal teammates Madueke and Eberechi Eze on the Lions’ Den sofa.
