APC: help! Kano-election already made up

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State of Kano expressed concern for the alleged irregularities in the reverse elections for the electoral colleges of Ghari/Takai and Bagwai/Shamano.
Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, the president of the party, declared Saturday that the elections were not free and right, citing issues such as the intimidation of the voters.
He said that party supporters were driven away from their homes to allow the elegant of opposition voters.
Abbas explained that the criminals were seen in most electoral units by intimidating the remaining supporters of the APC who refused to leave.
He said: “The electoral materials still had to reach most of the electoral units in the areas of the local government affected by 11 in the morning”
Abbas criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INC) for lack of transparency and urged him to face these drops to ensure that the elections reflect the will of the people.
“This is not an election,” he underlined.
Abdu Zango, Kano’s resident electoral commissioner, said that the Commission had provided all the necessary electoral materials necessary for the conduct of the elections in all areas of the local government affected and electoral units.
He assured that each electoral unit had been provided with electoral materials.
However, he recognized some delays due to transport and criminal problems, which were mitigated by the safety agencies.
The president of New Nigeria People’s Party, Alhaji Hashimu Dungurawa, said that the supporters of the eligible party had behaved in a peaceful way in the continuous elections in the areas of the local government affected.
He explained that none of the party supporters transported any form of weapon to all designated electoral units.
The president claimed: “We are members of the party respectful of the law ready to exercise our civil liability”.
