President Bola Tinubu sent a message of condolences to the leader’s family and members, the politician and the sports promoter, Alhaji Isyaku Ibrahim, who died on Saturday at 88 in Abuja.
Alhaji Ibrahim came from Wamba in the state of Nasarawa.
The deceased businessman was an influential head of the deceased Nigeria National Party (NPN) in the Second Republic. During the transition to civil domain in 1998, he joined other important politicians to form the Popular Democratic Party (PDP).
President Tinubu recognized the contributions of the deceased to Nigeria through his chain of activity, political involvement and the leadership of the community.
In addition to other initiatives, the deceased statesman founded the Mighty Jets Football Club based in Jos, which bloomed for decades.
