The high -risk struggle for the latest AI technology ownership has taken a new turn because the OpenAI legal team is suspected of voicing concerns about the potential role of Meta in the offer of Elon Musk’s involvement of $ 97 billion.
The source who is familiar with this case said that OpenAi’s lawyers had begun to investigate whether Meta, a Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp parent company, had involvement that advised or was hidden in Musk’s brave decision to combine AI power.
Even if there is no concrete evidence available, the implication itself highlights intense competition and distrust among the Top Silicon Valley technology company.

“Meta and Musk have a complicated relationship, but they share one goal: not let Microsoft monopolize generative AI,” said a Silicon Valley analyst. “This legal question indicates how fragile alliances in technology can be when the stakes involve trillions of market values in the future.”
Musk, who participated in establishing OpenAI in 2015 before leaving the business because of disagreement on governance and strategy, surprised investors earlier this month by submitting a request for the takeover.
According to the CEO of Spacex and Tesla, OpenAI has deviated from the values of its core neutrality and transparency by partnering with Microsoft, which according to him unfairly offers a giant software of competitive advantage in the AI race.
