APC accused PDP who misleads the Nigerians, defending victory in the election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday blamed the people’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its governors to criticize the recent BYE selection behavior in 12 states throughout the country.

The party accused the opposition of trying to mislead the Nigerians with an unfounded claim.

In a statement signed by the secretary of its national publicity, Felix Morka, the ruling party rejected the communication issued by the PDP Governor Forum after his meeting in the state of Zamfara.

The governor at the meeting accused APC of lacking a vision and involved in an undemocratic practice.

Morka described PDP as a “party in depth,” burdened by the internal crisis and the increase in rejection by the Nigerians.

He argues that instead of overcoming their internal challenges, the Governor of PDPP has used what he calls “reckless accusations” against APC.

“This is funny for the Governor of PDP, a party that is paralyzed by a crisis that cannot be overcome and reduced to be a shadow of self -self, to accuse APC behavior that is not democratic,” the statement said.

“PDP has fallen into the ruins and holders are rejected by Nigerians. The governor must focus on the resuscitation of their party which is seriously ill insightful peddling falsity on our great party.”

APC further refers to its performance in the selection of August 16 as proof of public trust in the administration of the Tinubu Bola President and the New Hope Agenda.

The party also accused the Governor of PDP of having poor governance, regardless of what was described as a federal allocation that had never happened before under the Tinubu government.

According to APC, more than ₦ 2 trillion has been distributed to the state in July 2025, the highest in the history of this country, but several states led by PDP continue to “do in a shame.”

“Nigeria will not return to the dark era of PDP rules when many countries go bankrupt and cannot afford to pay salaries,” the statement added.
