The Benue Assembly suspected the former Dajoh speaker for alleged efforts to impeach the government

The Benue State Council Council on Tuesday suspended former Chairman of Aondona Dajoh for alleged efforts to impeach Governor Hyacinth Alia.

The former speaker, who resigned from his position on Sunday, was suspended for three months by home.

The suspension of Dajoh follows the adoption of a motion that was moved by members of parliament representing the constituents of the state of Kyan, Terna Shimawua, and was seconded by James Umoru from what state constituents.

Shimawua and two others were deferred last Friday for alleged efforts to impeach the former speaker.

However, the member of the parliament, was called back after the resignation of Dajoh as a speaker.

The state government on Monday distanced itself from the resignation of Dajoh as a speaker.

In his decision, the new speaker, Alfred Berger, reviewed the suspension of Dajoh from six to three months without an ordinary sound about the problem by parliamentary members.
