EFCC Arrest 37 Alleged Internet Fraudsters in Taraba

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has arrested 37 alleged internet fraudsters in the state of Taraba.

The head of the media and publicity of the commission, Dele Oyewale, revealed this in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.

He said the EFCC operators arrested the suspects behind Federal University, Wukari, on Wednesday.

Oyewale added that the operation followed a credible intelligence from the alleged involvement of the suspect in cyberspace.

“The items recovered from them include two cars, 12 laptops and 46 cellphones.

“The suspects will soon be charged with court,” said the spokesman.
