Tinubu reversed the promise to meet with NTA, remembering DG

President Tinubu Ball has ordered the withdrawal of Mr. Salihu Dembos as Director General of Nigeria Television Authority (NTA).

This follows the recent management of management on a state-owned TV network.

Special advisors about information and strategies to the President, Bayo Onanuga, revealed this in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.

Dembos, who was appointed by NTA by President Tinubu in October 2023, will now return to complete his three -year term.

The President also remembers Mr. Ayo Adewuyi, Executive Director of News, to complete his term of office for three years, which ended in 2027.

Adewuyi was appointed by President Tinubu in 2024.

Instructions effectively override previous appointments from the Director General of the New, News Executive Director, Marketing Executive Director, and NTA Enterprises Director.
