
The Adaramaja Education Foundation has assigned scholarships to each exceptional student in all categories of lessons in the basic education that participated in its program of summer lessons just ended at the Lgea Primary School, Otte – Oja, Asa Local Government Area of the State of Kwara.
The holiday program sponsored by the executive president of the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (Kwwsubab), Prof. Shehu Raheem Adaramaja, brought pupils to different levels of basic education for academic commitment during the long holiday.
At the closing ceremony, the scholarships were assigned to the most performing pupils in each class category.
The Foundation also paid the commissions for basic students for suspended students identified also for suspended students identified in this year’s edition.
Blueprint reports that the scheme is the fifth edition and was part of Adaramaja’s efforts in promoting access to quality education and supporting parents in assisting the educational needs of their children.
Adaramaja, widely recognized for its contribution to the development of basic education in the state, has supported several interventions over the years, including school rehabilitation, teachers’ training and the support of scholarships for the destitute pupils.
The leaders of the community, the parents and beneficiaries present at the event praised the Adaramaja Foundation for supporting the annual summer lessons and for having provided direct incentives to encourage academic excellence.
