Lookman can still play for Atalanta – de Roon

Atalanta’s captain, Marten de Ron, has declared ‘The door is always open’ for Adelala Lookman if he changes his attitude, he informs Completsports.com.

The former Leicester City star pressed to join Inter Milan in the summer.

Lookman appeared for Nigeria in his recent qualifiers of the FIFA 2026 World Cup against Amavubi de Ruanda, and Bafana Bafana de South Africa.

However, the 27 -year -old did not appear for the shock of the House of the DEA with Leece last weekend.

Chief coach Ivan Juric has also chosen not to include the extreme in his team for the clash of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday with Paris Saint-Germain for not having the right approach to training.

De Roon insisted that there is still the possibility that the Nigerian returns to the team.

“I did not bother (lookman). I don’t want to use too much energy about this situation. We are concentrated on the team and the players here,” said Roon to Sky Sport Italia.

“We are here and the door is always open.”
