The National Examination Council (NECO) has released the 2025 senior school certificate (SSCE for school candidates.
Registrar/Head of Executive Neco, Prof. Dantani Wushishi announced the results at the news briefing on Wednesday in Minna, Niger state.
He said the council released the results of the exam 54 days after the last paper was written by the candidates.
Wushishi said of 1,358,339 candidates who sat for training held between June and July, 818,492, or 60.26 percent, scored five loans and above, including mathematics and English.
He added that the number of candidates with five credit and above, regardless of mathematics and English, was 1,144,496 or 84.26 percent.
The number of candidates registered for the examination is 1,367,210, representing 685,514 men and 681,696 women.
The number of candidates who were 1,358,339, represented 680,292 men and 678,047 women.
“The number of candidates with five loans and above, including mathematics and English, is 818,492, representing 60.26%.

“The number of candidates with five credit and above, regardless of mathematics and English, is 1,144,496, representing 84.26%,” said Neco registrants.
He praised the President of the Tinubu ball for his support for the body.
“The leadership of the president, vision, and unwavering commitment, where institutions such as Neco can fight for higher standards, transparency, and accountability.
“His support triggered our encouragement to provide fair, credible, and on time results for our country students.
“This is a new hope demonstration for the Nigerian education system,” he added.
