Nextmoney set up to reveal the best 100 companies in Nigeria, celebrate …

Nextmoney, a publication of the Center for Financial Journalism Ltd/GTE, is intended to reveal the best 100 Nigeria companies and will host the first 100 companies of the company to celebrate the country’s high -performance companies.

The presentation and prize ceremony is scheduled for 17.00 on October 3, 2025 at the Civic Center, Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The theme of prizes are the best 100 companies in Nigeria: yesterday, today and the future, and will be Keynoted by Mr. Olufermi Awoyemmi Mni, president of Proshare Nigeria.

The event will be chaired by Dr. Ije Jidenma, president of the Nigeria-Sudafrica Chamber of Commerce and CEO of Ahead Edge Consulting.

The first 100 Nigeria companies are a special edition of Nextmoney magazine, the main source of commercial, financial and economic intelligence in Nigeria.

The edition focuses on the performance of public property companies in Nigeria and on their ranking based on activities, income, profit (profit net of taxes), market capitalization, number of employees and tax payments.

Awards Nextmoney Top 100 Companies Awards is designed to recognize and celebrate high -performance companies in Nigeria who came out at the top of the analysis of performance and the ranking of public ownership companies in Nigeria by Nextmoney analysts.

These companies emerge from the top 100 companies in Nigeria classified for activities, income, profits (net profits of taxes), market capitalization, number of employees and tax payments.

The Nextmoney Top 100 Companies prizes will be in two categories: global and sectoral.

The Global Awards are for companies that have emerged as the best performers in terms of activities, revenue, profits, market capitalization, number of employees and tax payments among the top 100 companies.

The prizes will be as follows: the largest company in Nigeria (the company that has recorded the largest total activities of the year), the most profitable company in Nigeria, the largest company in Nigeria per Revenue, the most precious company in Nigeria (the highest company that has recorded the highest market capitalization of the year) (the company that paid the highest income tax of the companies in the year).

The sectoral winners are the companies that are at the top of the sectoral rankings, also on the basis of activities, revenue, profits, market capitalization, number of employees and tax payments.

The sectoral prizes in this girl of the next prizes for the best 100 companies will be limited to banks, insurance and manufacturing.

According to the editor-in-chief of Nextmoney, Dr. Ray Echebiri, the Nextmoney Companies prizes are unique because unlike other prizes, it is strictly based on objective criteria-the remarkable performance of the companies as hypothesized by their controlled financial relationships.
