Sporting Lagos Academy’s Egbedokun dealt a late blow to VOE’s hopes of a victory, finding the net in the 93rd minute or so (90+4) to give his team a share of the points.

Egbedokun’s decisive contribution in injury time proved crucial for Sporting Lagos Academy as his late equalizer prevented VOE from taking all three points. The timing of the goal highlighted its impact in the final minutes of a closely contested match.

For VOE Football Academy, conceding so late was a disappointing result as they continue to fight for their first win of the campaign. After six games, the team has only achieved two points, so it is still looking for a result that could change the season.

Despite the late drama, the Sporting Lagos Academy will be encouraged by their perseverance to find a way back into the game. Egbedokun’s goal in added time was the decisive moment of the match, rescuing a point for his team.

VOE must now focus on improving their results in the coming weeks if they want to end their winless streak and move up the league standings.
