Four judicial officials fired for Falliti Promotion exams – Thage

The Commission for the Judicial Service of the State of the Niger (NJSC) rejected four officers after repeatedly failed to overcome the mandatory promotion exams.

In a declaration, the president of the subcommittee of the Commission for information, Adamu Usman, said that the affected officers include three from the High Court and one from the Sharia Court of Appeal.

According to him, the officers failed the promotion exams on three consecutive occasions, while remaining at the same rank.

He explained that the Commission, based on order 8, the rule (4) (f) of its 2025 regulation, resolved and advised them to leave the service.

In a related development, the NJSC has established a committee for four men to investigate the accusations of serious bad conduct against a Mohammed Shaba, accused of circulating a video clip on social media clips aimed at the chief judge of the state of the Niger and the judiciary.

Usman said that the matter was reported by the head of the Sharia Court of Appeal.

He added that while the Commission has approved the report, he decided to set up an underground to conduct further investigations and ensure that an equitable audition is granted to the accused staff.
