Falconets faces Rampant Senegal in World Cup qualifiers

The Falconets will now face their Senegalese counterparts in the third round of the FIFA Cup U20 classification tournament of FIFA 2026 after they surpassed Rwanda.

The Falconets confirmed their superiority over Rwanda after they defeated visitors in Ibadan 4-0 to pass by 5-0 together.

They will face Senegal, who shot Algeria 6-0 in aggregate in the second round of the qualifiers.

Senegal defeated the North Africa 4-0 at home after they won the first leg 2-0.

The confrontation between the two Western Africa countries will be organized between February 6 and 14, 2026.
